Scott L. VanVoorhees, AIA

“Successful design does not have to be complicated.”

Scott has an extensive background in commercial and industrial design, as well as construction administration. Over the past 24 years, his experience has ranged from site management to project manager and designer for clients including Hampton Roads Sanitation District, James City County, the College of William & Mary and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Norfolk. Scott manages many of the firm’s design/build projects as well as traditional design/bid/build work.

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Scott serves on the James City County Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission as well as the Thomas Nelson Community College Local College Board. He enjoys spending time with his kids, skiing,  and coaching hockey.
