Ann Marie is a key part of our Creative Design team, helping clients make choices for their interior spaces and combining an artist’s touch with her knowledge of color, fabrics and furnishings. She was previously a senior project and quality control manager for a major interior and architectural firm in Atlanta.

Ann Marie tells about a recent trip to Savannah, Georgia. Walking the city, the most beloved buildings are the ones with a story to tell. The downtown shoe store with its decorative terrazzo sidewalk entry with an embedding of the original store’s name and an old home from 1820. This home’s simple exterior could not begin to tell the story of the wonderful interior! So this brings me back to why I design…I design to make every experience count. It matters. Ornament matters, colors matter, the story matters. And ultimately, what the end user feels in our spaces matters most.

A summa cum laude graduate of Savannah College of Art & Design, Ann Marie enjoys serving as a Sunday School teacher and volunteering at her children’s school. She also likes to use her artistic sense in the garden–as long as she can keep the critters from eating her flowers.
